Eleven crossings
We drove the same 45-centimeter crossing eleven times — not because the machine failed, but because it kept not failing and the light kept improving. Every connector on the chassis is sealed to IP65: dust-tight, and immune to the jets and spray a crossing like this throws at the underbody.
What wade mode changes
In water, traction is a feeling, not a fact — you cannot see the creek bed. Wade mode slows the throttle map, raises torque delivery smoothness, and leans on the terrain sensors to keep all four corners honest on invisible, algae-slicked rock. The rider’s job shrinks to picking an entry point and committing.
The honest limits
A film log should say what a machine cannot do. IP65 is not a submarine rating: we do not wade past seat-base depth, and we do not stop mid-current. The 45-centimeter bar in this film is where we recommend owners stay as well. Judgment remains the best terrain mode — the other six just widen where it can take you.
